Bubble tea, four years ago for the British people is still relatively new drinks, but in a short span of four years, this is from Taiwan, the drinks have entered a lot of Britain's streets and alleys.

Now not only in London, but Bristow, Glasgow, Portsmouth and other cities in the United Kingdom can be found bubble tea shops.

Bubble tea (Pearl milk tea) is the milk tea with tapioca pearls, that for drinks and snacks as well. It is very popular since the beginning of 1980s in Taiwan, has become a very representative drink of Taiwan.

Assad Kahn, who worked in investment banking, opened the first bubble tea shop near the Chinatown in 2011. He decided to quit his job and set up his own bubble  tea shop in London after he tasted and fell in love with pear milk tea when he worked in the United States.

Now his bubble tea chain has spread throughout Europe and the Middle East. Of course, in addition to Kahn's bubble tea shop, there are a lot of other bubble tea shops on London street, very popular too.

A market researching company says, pearl milk tea is more and more popular in the United Kingdom, but much more popular in Germany, even the German McDonald sells pearl milk tea.

British food critic Olo Hering pointed out that "This drink is chewy, very slippery, a little bit strange, but it makes you want to drink again. "
